Warranty

Loughlin Furniture Designs Pty Ltd offer a twelve (12) month warranty period on all Loughlin Furniture timber, metal & stone products.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase of the product. Proof of purchase in the form of the original purchase receipt is required for warranty validation and service.

Warranty claims should be made directly to Loughlin Furniture.

If a substantial defect in material or workmanship arises with your Loughlin Furniture product, and a valid warranty claim is received by Loughlin Furniture within the warranty period, then replacement or repair of that product may be granted as follows:

  • Products that HAVE NOT yet been installed or are ‘free standing products’ and a defect has been claimed, the products should be returned to the place of purchase for inspection and appropriate action.
  • Products that HAVE already been installed and defect is claimed, Loughlin Furniture will arrange a service call (or ask for photos to be emailed) at the place of installation to inspect and rectify. If the defect is caused by any other reason other than a manufacturing fault then a service fee will apply and be payable by the consumer.
  • Please note that Loughlin Furniture cannot grant warranty claims or be held liable for damages to your Loughlin Furniture product as a result from any misuse or improper care and maintenance of the Product.

Exclusions

Loughlin Furniture cannot grant warranty claims where the vanity or product has not been installed by a licenced builder or plumber and proof of installation will be requested at the time of any warranty claim.

This warranty is for normal domestic use only (not commercial).

Subject to any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, Loughlin Furniture cannot be made liable for any consequential loss or damage to floor coverings, walls, fixtures or furnishings caused by a defect in the goods.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. See Australian Consumer Law Guarantee for more information.

Please Note

While we take all care and diligence to handcraft your item(s) as per expectations, we would like to emphasise that we work with a natural product ~ timber. Timber colour, feature and grain can all change the final appearance of the product and may differ from what you may have been shown or viewed.

This includes how we treat the product(s) in our ‘finishing’ stage. It is sometimes necessary to fill or resin holes and imperfections in the natural timber to minimise our waste footprint and maximise use of the material.

This is done to a standard consistent in the woodworking industry and is quality controlled before leaving our warehouse. Please email if you would like more information on this.
